Overview
LabMax (labmax.app) is a free tool for lab managers and owners. This policy explains what information is collected when you use the site, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Information we do not collect
LabMax does not require an account, login, or registration to use any calculator. The numbers you type into a calculator, things like wages, costs, volumes, or reimbursement rates, are processed entirely in your browser. None of that is sent to or stored on a LabMax server.
Remembering your inputs
To save you from retyping the same numbers, LabMax can remember the values you last entered into each calculator using your browser's local storage. This information stays on your own device and is never transmitted to LabMax or anyone else. You can clear it at any time using the "Clear saved inputs on this device" link at the bottom of the calculator page, or by clearing your browser's site data.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, LabMax may use standard analytics tools to understand overall traffic. This can include how many people visit, which calculator pages get used most, and what type of device or browser people are on. This data is anonymized and looked at in aggregate. It is not used to identify any individual visitor.
Advertising
LabMax may display ads served through Google AdSense or similar advertising networks. These providers may use cookies or similar technology to show ads based on your past visits to this or other websites. LabMax does not choose or control the specific ads shown by these networks and does not receive personal information about who views them.
Cookies
LabMax itself does not set cookies to track you across other sites. Advertising or analytics providers built into the site may set their own cookies, as described above. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings.
Sharing and PDF export features
LabMax includes optional Share and Download PDF buttons for calculator results. These run locally in your browser. The share function uses your device's built in share capability, and the PDF is generated and saved straight to your device. No calculation data passes through a LabMax server as part of these features.
Children's privacy
LabMax is a professional tool meant for laboratory and healthcare operations use. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

This policy may be updated as the site changes. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
